March 12th 📲 Changes to Incident Management Mobile App

Image #1

On March 12th 2025, we will release the newest version of the Incident Management mobile app on Android and iOS. The update comes with some changes in the user experience, and we wanted to to let you know what to expect in advance. Users do not have to take any action if they have already installed the app, it will automatically update.

  • Our Incident Management mobile app will be renamed to 'D4H Operations Center' and get a new symbol for its app icon.
  • The app will house both D4H Incident Management and D4H Alerting products in one integrated app.
  • A new home screen will display your organization's logo alongside a clickable preview of active incidents. This home screen will continue to gain more panels throughout the year.
  • A new inbox feature in the app will contain all alerts, mentions, and notifications sent to your device. Notifications will open the relevant incident you've been mentioned in, while opening an Alert will allow you to reply instantly from within the app.
  • Introduction of a new navigation bar along the bottom to switch between active Incidents and your Inbox from any screen. Your inbox will highlight any unread notifications or alerts with a red dot on the navigation bar.
  • Addition of a new push notifications channel for D4H Alerting.
  • Addition of a new critical push notifications channel for D4H Alerting which override 'do not disturb' on the device with an alarm sound.
  • Release of live location sharing using the device GPS to opt-in to share your live location on the D4H Incident Management map with other users. This option will appear on the home screen for users.

If you have any questions or concerns in advance of our full launch announcement next week, please contact help@d4h.com and we'll answer them.
